Allen Timmons serves as president of Western Steel & Wire (WSW). He guides the family-owned San Francisco manufacturing company with a market presence extending more than 90 years. WSW has become the state’s leading wire and wire product manufacturer and distributor. Among his responsibilities, Allen Timmons oversees sales, strategic planning, and order taking and processing. He manages the payroll, inventory, and accounts receivable, ensuring consistent revenue and profits.

Mr. Timmons has positioned the company as one that maintains a robust online presence. Having placed products for sale on the global “one-stop shop” that Amazon provides, he is working to launch an interactive website that will enable consumers to order products directly from WSW. Allen Timmons also runs a personal blog that delivers articles on the latest industry topics, from steel demand forecasts to ocean freight costs.
